I would like to thank the restaurant staff for a fantastic buffet lunch we all enjoyed when we were there recently with our Mother on her 88th Birthday . The staff were very friendly and Joyce? the lady in restaurant very kindly supplied me with a few containers so family members could take some of the birthday cake away. My mother enjoyed her lunch and with her sweet tooth thoroughly enjoyed the desserts. We will definitely be coming again either for lunch or to try out the wonderful dinner menu.

Thank you to the Staff who were very friendly and helpful and the cooks for the lovely lunch. Your hospitality was very much appreciated by our whanau (family) on a recent first time visit for most of us. I would recommend the Swanson RSA to others as the place to go – :)

I’ve just arrived back in the area after a few years away. I’m not a member of any club or RSA but a mate and I thought we’d call in for a few pints and a bit of pool this afternoon. We signed in but when we went to purchase drinks, we were refused service on the basis that we had no membership cards to show. In light of the header above welcoming visitors and the number of RSA’s around the country that are going bust, is it sensible to turn away two appropriately dressed, middle aged patrons who just want to spend a bit of money in your club?

      Hi Mike,

Thanks for taking the time to write to us.

Very sorry you were unable to enjoy an afternoon in our Club. We are subject to strict liquor licensing laws, membership and signing in of course being part of it all.

Perhaps if you live in the area you might consider joining, there are loads of benefits in being a member and it really is a great Club to belong to. Let me know if you would like to come back and I will arrange for someone to sign you in.

      Kind regards,

My brother is a member of the RSA but I don’t think he can come with us on Wednesday night for dinner.

    Can we eat without him?
